This website is operated by Custom Number Plates UK. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Custom Number Plates. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your region, or that you have given consent for any minor dependents to use this site. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

2. Accuracy of Information

We are not responsible if information on this site is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. The content on this site is provided for general information and should not be relied upon without consulting a qualified professional if necessary.

3. Product Information

All plates are custom-made to the specifications you provide. Please ensure that your registration number, spacing, and design are correct before ordering. Once production begins, changes cannot be made, and refunds cannot be issued except for defective items.

4. Show Plate Definition

A Show Plate is defined as a number plate that does not include BSU markings or compliance text as required by DVLA for road-legal use. Show Plates are intended strictly for off-road or display purposes (for example, car shows, exhibitions, or private property). They are not approved for use on public roads, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with DVLA regulations.

5. Non-Road-Legal Plates

Any plate ordered with custom spacing, altered font, or a design that does not comply with DVLA regulations will be considered a “Show Plate.” These are not road legal and will not include BSU markings. Customers are solely responsible for how such plates are used.

6. Payment

All payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments, PayPal, or other trusted gateways. Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without notice.

7. Delivery

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days. Shipping times vary by location and chosen delivery method. Once your order has been dispatched, we cannot change delivery details.

8. Returns

Custom products are exempt from standard return policies. We only accept returns for faulty or damaged plates. Please refer to our Deliveries & Returns page for full details.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, logos, and content on this website are the property of Custom Number Plates and protected by copyright law. Reproduction or distribution without permission is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. In no case shall Custom Number Plates, our directors, employees, or service providers be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
